Leyden Farm Vineyard & Wineryin West Greenwich has been an active farm for three generations, primarily growing Christmas Trees. They're open for tastings, and operate Langworthy Farm Bed & Breakfast on the property as well. Red wines include Avondale Cabernet Merlot, Charlestown Cabernet Franc, and Pawcatuck River Red. The winery opened to the public in 2005 and offers white wines that include Haversham Reserve Chardonnay, Noyes Neck Vidal Blanc, and Rhody Riesling. it's minutes away from Misquamicut Beach along Scenic Route 1A. Langworthy Farm Wineryin Westerly was built in 1875 in the historical homesite of Governor Samuel Ward. The vineyard offers tastings at their Wickford location and hosts events locally as well. Gooseneck wines include Prosecco, Brut Rosé, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Heritage Red. Gooseneck Vineyardsin Wickford is run by two cousins who source the elements of their wines from around the world. They seek out the best grape growing regions to bring your favorite varietals into your glass. They also host a live jazz series every Saturday from May through November. Guests are invited to picnic on site while enjoying their wine. They also make Greenvale Vermouth using brandy derived from their Pinot Gris grapes. Red wines include Greenvale Meritage and 2016 Cabernet Franc. The vineyard produces approximately 4,000 cases of estate-grown wine annually, including Skipping Stone White, Vidal Blanc, and 2018 Greenvale Chardonnay for whites. ![]() Greenvale Vineyards is a sixth generation family farm along the Sakonnet River in Portsmouth. Enjoy wine (and beer) flights overlooking the vines along with a 100% scratch cooking menu. White wines include Moon Song Chardonnay, Island white, and Riesling. Rosé wines include Bellevue Blush and Dry Rosé while reds include Rochambeau and Cabernet Franc. Newport Vineyards is situated on more than 100 acres of historically preserved farmland in Middletown and offers estate-grown wines, locally sourced food (both at the vineyard and at the onsite Brix Restaurant, and fresh, locally made beer at their adjacent Taproot Brewing Company. There is limited outdoor seating but guests are free to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy wines and lite bites. They also offer a selection of dessert wines. They're open for outdoor seating and guests are invited to bring a picnic and chairs to enjoy their tasting hours. They offer Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, and White Merlot (Blush) for white wines and Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve for red wines. Mulberry Vineyards in the historic town of Chepachet is located on the Andrew Brown homestead (1730).
